Welcome to Impact DWI

Impact DWI, Inc. is a community action and advocacy organization, which puts an emphasis on ending alcohol abuse in New Mexico, and is run strictly by volunteers.
We are based in Santa Fe, and have been in operation since 1999. We are a tax-exempt corporation operating under section 501 c (3) of the internal revenue code.

Since our first panel August 16, 2000 we have served 9700 offenders and collected $257,246 in fees in 169 Victim Impact Panels.
In 2016 we conducted 10 DWI Victim Impact Panels. We served 421 clients, 254 from SF Magistrate Court, 95 from SF Municipal Court, and 72 from other courts.
We collected $16,545 from the 414 clients who paid. Only 7 did not eventually pay. Total attendance was down 20% from 529 last year to 421 this year. Magistrate Court clients dropped from 376 to 254. .
